I’ll come firing right out of the gate with the best I can do to tell how about this game: it’s probably the greatest video game I’ve ever played in my life. The 18th game in the series took the concepts that made its predecessors so great and perfected them. You’ll want to learn everything about the massive, colorful, and lively world Nintendo created.

Where do you start with a game that has as much detail as Breath of the Wild? I suppose you start big and get smaller. The two best and biggest things about the Switch game are its adventure and exploration. There’s so much to do and see in Hyrule.

You’re dropped into this massive map, given a fairly short tutorial, and set free to explore however you wish. You can learn how to cook the best meals for your travels, identify and catalog all the wildlife (friendly and otherwise), help out people you meet along the way, choose a horse, fight epic battles, and hunt for treasures. The game rewards exploration at every turn. You’ll constantly get sidetracked, like if you’re looking for a certain sword and you decide to climb a mountain instead.

You’ll get lost in this world, and you’ll love exploring it all, solving puzzles, and following the epic story. Check out the trailer below:
